Ciao

Tossed a coin over my shoulder before we left Rome... so I guess we'll be back!

(In Milan right now, woohoo!)

Roma Roma ma

Hello allll
I'm in rome now, blogging from my iPod in the hotel lobby. It's been a lot of sun, a lot of gelato, and a whole lot of bad temper on my part. My luggage is insanely overweight. I don't know what's inside.

We went to the Vatican city and the basilica today. An hour's queue to go into the vatican. 320 steps up and down the cupola in the basilica. My legs are dying. This is crazy.

Last night was spent in a prison like cell with a shared toilet. Tonight we get an airconditioned room with our own attached toilet. Need to learn to count my blessings.

So far food hasn't been that great. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
Till then. Ciao ciao

BONJOUR

(Source: Lookbook.nu)

I have 2 more days till the end of summer school.
12 more till I'm back in Scorching Singaland.

It's been awesome here. The weather is crazy. The people speak way too fast.
6 out of 10 random people on the street are pretty damn good looking.

There's something to do everyday...
Yesterday my friend fell into the fountain at the Louvre. It was awesome.

Anyway, for my reference:
Itinerary for 26june-5july
  • Rome
  • Florence
  • Milan
  • Venice
  • (Back to)Paris
  • BACK TO SINGAPORE

I don't know what to expect.

More photos later. Maybe.
Till then!

Amsterdon

Short photo update of my weekends in Amsterdam and London:

(Amsterdam)

(Fine dining at The Warrington - Gordon Ramsay; 2 out of 3 courses)

This is already the last lap of school in France. It's crazy. Midnight already and we are still trying to finish up the project (but the end is still nowhere in sight...)

London was Wonderful. Honestly. I didn't want to get out of Oxford Circus/Street.
I want to go back )):

Okay back to project!

Parisienne

Hi people.
I'm finally on the streets of pont mairie now, having walked for two hours because my friend insisted on doing the Parisian routine of drink-smoke-people-watch on this particularly elusive streetside cafe.
Quite lame. But not too bad.
Amsterdam was amazing btw.
I would love to write more but we only have twenty minutes of wifi for free. Maybe later.
Bisous!

Slow dancing in a burning room

We're on an eight hour bus journey to Amsterdam. It's currently five thirty in the morning and it's easy to see that everything outside the bus windows are wrapped around in a fog of cold, frosty mist.
The warmest thing I'm wearing is a trench coat. Hardly insulating.

I think we're already in some remote part of the Netherlands... I looked out once and tried to imagine how it would be like to be stranded outside with million of paths and kilometres to walk. Creepy. Beautiful. The world outside is unimaginable.

My friends have fallen asleep again. Maybe now is my turn. More later.

trois cent et un

What up.
I'm blogging outside the toilet now because we got screwed for using laptop in class. past class time.
Great day right?
It's day 9 in Paris.
We've been shopping at Carrefour (basically a shopping centre here) and eating macarons in Macdonalds.
It's scorching when it's hot but when it's cold... it's FREEZING.
I'm running out of clothes soon.

Time to pick up laundry from Carrefour.
Till then.
