Happy Chinese New Year anddddddd Valentine's Day y'all.


First day of Chinese New Year and I'm here, at home,
sharing the same space with my snoozing folks,
painting my nails hot pink (tacky),
listening to songs I stole from my boyfriend's computer.

There's something so unsettling about this serenity.

For one,
I finished paying most of my debts to people and I still have some cash in my pocket. It unsettles me. Like fuel for my urge to click on whatever online merchandising store and burn cash on fabric.
For another,
I'll be headed for Paris, France this summer. Summer... not that far away.
I don't know what to expect.

I feel like having a truckload of carbohydrates to calm these frazzled nerves.
I just had a sandwich. My favourite one.
& then some.

Somebody stop me.
