Haven't decided on what I want to achieve this year.
2009 has been rewarding, to say the least.
A lot of physical, tangible gains, among others.
Two of the most memorable events in 2009:
A) Teaching
The temporal teaching "career" has opened my eyes to an environment that I had been so fortunately shielded from for the past 19 years of my life. A path I could have undertaken personally if not for the miraculous twists and turns in my life and that of my parents'. So many things to be grateful for.
B) Travelling
The trip to a foreign land with some of my closest friends had been one hell of an experience too... hilarious and adventure-packed, ha ;)
Oh, and starting university, of course.
There have been an abundance of opportunities and good fortunes (although some would choose to see these two as mutually exclusive - that there is no luck, only opportunities...) throughout the year that I ought to be thankful for - and I am thankful for.
It seems like we have come such a long way - nineteen full years and counting - but (HOPEFULLY) there is still a long way to go. This year I'm turning twenty, technically no longer a teen but WHO IS TO SAY?
I hope to keep trying to become a better person... and that life will continue to be fulfilling and stimulating. Have a blessed year ahead, people !(:
